SnapSea is hiring a Full-Stack Engineer (Remote) who will be responsible for developing new features, maintaining our core infrastructure and dreaming up wacky and wild new features.

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science, or a quantitative field like Economics, Mathematics or Statistics)

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• A love of problem-solving and an affinity for creative solutions

• An interest in modern npm libraries and Django optimisation

• An eagerness to take on responsibility

We're looking for a candidate who has 3+ years of professional experience with:

• ReactJS

• Redux

• Vanilla JS

• RESTful APIs

• Python

• Django

• Django Rest Framework

We are seeking people who are creative, proactive and passionate problem solvers.

This role is English-speaking. Must be fluent in English.

• Creating new features from requirements and high-fidelity mockups

• Implementation of modern user interfaces

• Optimisation of data transformation

• Interaction with internal and external RESTful APIs

• Detection and resolution of software bugs and issues

• Designing new React components (using external libraries and styled-components)

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use, optimisation and scalability

• Reporting directly to the CEO

You will learn the ins and outs of a fast-growing start-up, participate in the development and improvement of production-ready features and have input into the direction of our product.
